I hope my work helps you nurture a sense of gratitude for what your body does for you every day.
Allison von Flotow, DC
A little bit more about me and how I practice! I am a family practice chiropractor and I treat all musculoskeletal patients regardless of gender, but I have taken specialized training to treat conditions specifically relating to pregnancy and postpartum, pediatric patients, and pelvic pain and dysfunction. I consider the ephemeral states of the perinatal period and those first months of life, the times of greatest change and need for physiologic support.
The way I practice is very manual therapy focused. In addition to traditional chiropractic adjusting techniques, I incorporate a lot of muscle and fascial work into each session. I also utilize postural assessment and retraining, proper breathing techniques, and movement biomechanics to help support your overall wellness. The real magic is in therapeutic touch, it is through my hands that I listen to what your body needs.
